Located in San Isabel National Forest, in the SawatchRange, 6.4 km (4 mi) south of Mount Ouray, 24 km (15 mi) southwest of Salida.

Named in honor of the Nation’s “Killed in Action” and “Missing In Action” in all of its wars.
