Located along Poose Creek, 6.4 km (4 mi) E of Pagoda Peak, 56 km (35 mi) NE of Meeker.
History
Named for James Leonard Vaughan (1893-1950), wildlife representative and supporter of the construction of the Poose Creek Dam.
