Description
Bounded by Kenosha Mountains to the S and SW, Rolling Creek to the E, 5.2 km (3 mi) ESE of The Castle, 5.5 km (3 mi) SE of Sylvania of the Rockies, 18.5 km (12 mi) NW of Storm Peak, in the Lost Creek Wilderness.
History
A proposal was submitted by a private citizen to change the name Windy Peak to Storm Mountain in January 1992; on 8 September 1994 the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN) rejected the proposal.
