Along the S rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River, .55 mi S of Pulpit Rock and 1.8 mi NNW of Signal Hill.
History
Named for Douglas Lytle (1880-1959), who was instrumental in getting the first road built to the Black Canyon and who donated 256 acres to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NM
