Description
Heads 4.5 km (2.8 mi) WNW of Mount Pittsburg and 23.5 km (14 mi) N of Pentose, trends SW to Beaver Creek, 8.4 km (5.2 mi) SW of Mount Pittsburg, 16.3 km (10.1 mi) N of Penrose and 1.9 km (1.2 mi) SE of Sugar Loaf; in Beaver Creek State Wildlife Area.
History
Named for the Banta family, early homesteaders in the area.
