Description
A broad saddle located at a low point on the Continental Divide, between two unnamed summits, W of Monarch Ski Area, 0.6 km (0.4 mi) NE of the source of Major Creek and 1.6 km (1 mi) W of US Route 50.

Named for nearby Monarch Ridge and the community of Monarch.
