Description
In Sequoia National Park, on the west slope of Sierra Nevada, extending southwes 3.4 km (2.1 mi) from the heading of Wright Creek and 0.8 km (0.5 mi) southwest of the Tulare County and Inyo County boundary. (US-T121)
History
Named after Captain J W A.Wright, who with Judge William R Wallace and Reverand F H Wales, visited Mount Whitney in 1881. (US-T121)
