Description
Heads in the community of Wayne, 1.1 km (0.7 mi) east of Coyote Creek, flows north-northwest to Coyote Creek, 13.6 km (8.5 mi) north-northwest of the center of San Jose, its lower course is canalized. (US-T121)
History
Lower Penitencia Creek and Upper Penitencia Creek were once joined as a continuous watercourse, but land subsistance and urban development have separated them into 2 features. (US-T121)
