Located in sec 5,T30S,R11E, Mount Diablo Meridian on the northwest end of Park Ridge, 1.6 km (1 mi) southeast of Black Hill, 2.1 km (1.3 mi) southeast of the community of Morro Bay, and 4.8 km (3 mi) northwest of Hollister Peak. (US-T121)
History
Named for Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, a Portuguese navigator in Spanish service, who in 1542 was commander of the first expedition to sail along the coast of California. (US-T121)
