Bound on the northeast by Lane Mountain, on the southeast by the Calico Mountains, on the southwest by Mount General, on the west by Water Valley, and on the northwest by Black Mountain,and Opal Mountain, 17.6 km (11 mi) north of the community of Barstow and 83 km (53 mi) south-southwest of Trona.
