Description
Heads 0.5 mi. south-southeast of Sankey, flows south past the community of Rio Linda and through North Sacramento, then west for 2.5 mi. to enter the Sacramento River just north of the community of Broderick.
History
Named for the steelhead trout found along the stream. NEMDC (variant name) is an acronym for Natomas East Main Drainage Canal, one of the former names of the feature.
