An area of fan palms (Washingtonia filefera) surrounding a desert pool at the north end of Thousand Palms Canyon, 8.8 km (5.5 mi) northeast of Thousand Palms. (US-T121)

Named for John Guthrie McCallum (?-1897), first white settler in Palm Springs, who became a large landowner and developed a Palm Springs water-carrying canal system. (US-T121)
