Description
2 mi. long; heads within land managed by the Truckee Donner Land Trust, trends S through Tahoe National Forest into the Town of Truckee and then into Donner Lake; Secs 14, 11&10, T17N, R15E, Mount Diablo Meridian. BGN Decision also changes location of upper part of canyon.
History
The name commemorates Albert Johnson (1832-1911), a well-known and respected resident of the area and hotel owner in the late 1800s-early 1900s.
