Description
Heads at The Cove, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) E of Mount Veeder, flows NE to enter the unnamed stream that flows through Wing Canyon 1 km (0.6 mi) upstream of Dry Creek.
History
Named for James E. Elkington (1829-1898), who homesteaded on property along the stream in 1874 and who operated a sawmill and summer resort there.
