Description
A submarine canyon that extends westerly for about 6.4 km (4 mi) from its head about 0.4 km (0.25 mi) from shore in Carmel Bay to a depth of 350 fathoms, extends northwest to a depth of 500 fathoms, off coast of California in the Pacific Ocean. (US-T121)
