Description

In the Mayacmas Mountains, 0.16 km (0.1 mi) south of the Mendocino County-Lake County boundary, 0.48 km (0.3 mi) east-southeast of the heading of Hoil Creek, 11.2 km (7 mi) northwest of Cobb Mountain, and 12.8 km (8 mi) south of Kelseyville. (US-T121)

History

Named for John Christian Christof Mahnke (1858-1939), who ran several hundred head of angora goats on this peak for 70 years. (US-T121)
