Description
In Yosemite National Park, 1.6 km (1 mi) east of Tenaya Peak and 12.8 km (8 mi) southwest of Cathedral Peak. (US-T121)
History
Board on Geographic Names (BGN) Decision approved August 12, 1958; published in Devision List 5901. Named for Dr. Donald E Tresidder, President of Standord University, 1943-1948, who during is association with this peak from 1914 to 1948, did much to develope its facilities for the American people.
