In Yosemite National Park/Yosemite Wilderness; a granite promontory along the south rim of Yosemite Valley, 0.4 mi. W of Sentinel Dome, 0.5 mi SSE of Sentinel Rock.
History
Named for President Theodore Roosevelt, who visited and camped in Yosemite National Park in 1903, and who in 1906 enacted a Recession Bill that returned Yosemite Valley to federal protection.
