Description

On the southeast boundary of Yosemite National Park, at the head of the Lyell Fork of the Merced River, 1.3 km (0.8 mi) northeast of Foerster Peak and 2.1 km (1.3 mi) west-southwest of Electra Peak. (US-T121)

Named for Ansel Easton Adams (1902-1984), preeminent landscape photographer, conservationist, teacher, and Diretor of the Sierra Club for 37 years. (US-T121)
