Description
Located on Santa Catalina Island, 5.3 km (3.3 mi) north of Mount Orizaba.
History
A proposal to change the name Little Gibraltar to Gibraltar Point was submitted the the National Ocean Service in February 1976; the proposal was withdrawn by the proponent on 6 April 1978, due to lack of local support.
