Description
Heads on the southeastern slope of Juniper Ridge, trends southwest to join Hot Springs Canyon, 1.5 km (1 mi) northwest of Kreyenhegen Peak; 2.6 km (1.6 mi) long.
History
A proposal to change the name Grabast Canyon to Grabb Ass Canyon was submitted in September 2003; the USBGN rejected the proposal on 10 March 2005. The decision was made in agreement with the findings and recommendations of the California Board, which suggested the proposed name might be viewed as offensive.
