Description
Bound on the north by Goat Crest and on the south by Goat Mountain, 35 km (22 mi) west-northwest of Independence. (US-T121)
History
Named for Maynard Munger (1902-1972), local civic, and business leader, who was instrumental in protecting and preserving Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Yosemite National Parks.
