Heads on Wounded Knee Mountain, flows northwest for 2.2 miles to Idlewild Creek 0.97 km (0.6 mi) southeast of Idlewild and 17.7 km (11 mi) northeast of Gasquet. (US-T121)
History
Named for Garee Stephens, (1927-1975), who founded the conservation group, Friends of Del Norte County, and who was involved in the protection of the Smith River watershed. (US-T121)
