Located in secs 9,10 and 16,T6N,R10E, Mount Diablo Meridian. Formed by damming the waters of Jackass Creek just northeast of Goffinet Reservoir, 6.4 km (4 mi) west of the city of Sutter Creek and 56 km (35 mi) east-southeast of Sacramento. (US-T121)
