Heads in the Town of Prescott Valley on the NW slope of Glassford Hill, flows NW through the City of Prescott and Granite Dells (valley) into Granite Creek.
History
Name honors Elisabeth Ruffner (1919-2019), who worked with the community to save and assure the preservation of numerous historical and natural landmarks throughout Arizona. She was also inducted into the Arizona Women's Hall of Fame.
