Description
Located in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, in the McDowell Mountains, heads 3.2 km (2 mi) north of McDowell Peak, flows north then west-northwest to a point 2.4 km (1.5 mi) south-southeast of Troon Mountain.
History
Named for Miguel Ochoa, who acquired a land patent along the arroyo in 1924. The Ochoa family ran cattle in the area for many years.
