A group of 4-5 peaks S of Salt River and E of Pinal Creek (US-T121).
History
Originally called 'Apache Mountains' or 'Sierra Apache'. The Board on Geographic Names renamed the feature 'Apache Peaks' as they did not form a range or group of mountains per se.
