Description
A canyon of the Colorado River between Glen Canyon and Granite Gorge, heading at the mouth of Paria Canyon at Lees Ferry and trending southwestward and then south to the mouth of the Little Colorado River; in Grand Canyon NP and Kaibab NF.

Named by Major John Wesley Powell in 1869.
