Description
In Coconino National Forest, flows west-southwest through the lower portion of Surveyor Canyon to enter Oak Creek.
History
Named for Don Hoel (1913-1983) and his wife Juanita Hoel (1913-1998), who owned property along the stream, where they built rental cabins and operated a grocery and Indian crafts store.
