Heads in Canada in the Nahoni Mountains at 6528N, 13932W, flows NE and then SW across the internatioanl boundary to the Yukon River 2 mi. NW of Fork Yukon, Yukon Flats.

Name probably given before 1865 by agents of the Hudson's Bay Company.
