Description
South Fork Koyukuk River is located heads 8 mi. W of Chandalar Lake, flows SW to Koyukuk River, 20 mi. E of Allakaket, Kanuti Flats.
History
Local name published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1899. This stream appears to be the "Nohoolchintna" which Lieutenant Allen (1887, p. 100), USA, reported in 1885.
