Selatna River is located heads at 621900N1550800W, flows NW 50 mi. to Kuskokwim River E of Nunivak Bar, 31 mi. S of McGrath; Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Ingalik Indian name obtained in June 1844 by Lieutenant L. A. Zagoskin, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN); he spelled it "R(eka) Chalono" and "R(eka) Challono." present spelling was reported in 1915 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
