Description
Pioneer Creek is located formed by junction of its North Fork and Deadwood Creek, flows SW to Eureka Creek at village of Eureka, 23 mi. S of Rampart, Yukon-Tanana High.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1904 by Prindle and Hess (1906, p. 85), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Gold was discovered here on What Cheer Bar in 1902.
