Discovery Pup is located flows SW to South Fork Hess Creek, 7 mi. NE of Livengood, Yukon-Tanana High. 1.4 miles long.

Named by prospectors; reported in 1916 by J. B. Mertie (in Brooks and others, 1918, pl. 13), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
