Description
Coal Creek is located heads at 650900N1433900W and flows NE to Yukon River, 10 mi. W of junction of Charley and Yukon Rivers, Yukon=Tanana High.
History
Prospectors' name reported by Lieutenant Cantwell (1902, p. 277) Revenue= Cutter Service, in 1900. Probably named for the coal beds that outcrop along the stream's banks.
