Description
Champion Creek is located flows SW joins Bear Creek to form Beaver Creek, 3 mi. NNW of table top Mtn. and 52 mi. NE of Fairbanks, Yukon-Tanana High. 15 miles long.
History
Local name of stream shown in 1910 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to flow to Beaver Creek at Nome Creek (Brooks and others, 1910, pl. 6). In 1913, the stream was shown in its present location.
