Description
Amawk Creek is located flows W from Amawk Mtn. to North Fork Koyukuk River, 40 mi. NW of Wiseman, Brooks Range; 5 miles long.
History
Marshall (1956, p. 48) wrote "a * * *. stream * * * which I later named "Amawk Creek", meaning (in Eskimo) wolf creek".
