Konootena Village (historical) is located site of village on Kanuti River, near mouth of Mentanontli River, 18 mi. SW of Allakaket, Kokrines-Hodzana High.
History
Koyukuk Indian village visited in 1885 by Lieutenant Allen (1887, p. 97), USA; consisted of "five men, three women, and five children."
