Description
Tolstoi (historical) is located on E bank of Tolstoi Creek N of its junction with Mastodon Creek and 23 mi. NW of Ophir, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Boat landing and supply camp for the Mastodon Creek diggins established about 1916. It had a post office in 1917 and 1918. It is now abandoned.
