Old Minto is located along the Tanana River 45 mi. W of Fairbanks; Alaska.
History
Name derived from Minto Lakes and reported by the Chief Signal Officer, U.S. Army, in 1909 as Minto Telegraph station and published in 1911 by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) (Brooks and others, pl. 12).
