Description
Shoestring Dune Lake is located in lower Koyukuk River valley, 2.5 mi. N of Coffee Can Lake and 30 mi. SW of Huslia.
History
So named in 1959 by F. R. Weber, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because this long, narrow lake parallels Shoestring Dune.
