Clawanmenka Lake is located in course of Kanuti Chalatna Creek, 28 mi. SE of Bettles, Kanuti Flats. 1 mile long.

Koyukuk Indian name obtained in 1956 at Allakaket by T. E. Taylor, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
