Description
Henry Martin Island is located in Fishhook Bend of Porcupine River 20 mi. ENE of Coleen Mtn. 1.5 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1956 by J. E. Taylor, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), FitzGerald (1944, p. 228), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), recorded a Martins Bar on the Porcupine River, in 1939, about three miles upstream from this island.
