Description
Colville Bend is located on right bank of Three Day Slough, 18 mi. NW of Roundabout Mtn., Koyukuk Low.
History
Named "Colwell Bend" in 1885, by Lieutenant H. T. Allen, USA, who wrote, "in honor of Mr. Colwell (complete name not available), of the Adjutant-General's Office, who gave me such concientious work in working up my observations and making my maps" (Baker, 1906 p. 192).
