Description
Flows SW and the S from Robinson Mts. to the Kaliakh River W of Sunshine Point and 13 mi upstream from the Gulf of Alaska, 17 mi. NW of Cape Yakataga, Malaspina Coastal Plain.
History
So named in 1947 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) because a persistent odor of petroleum was noticed along the stream.
