Description
Logan Beach is located on E shore of Yakutat Bay, S of Logan Bluffs, 19 mi. NE of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts.
History
Named by Tarr and Martin (1906, map) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Gold, disseminated through the gravel of this beach, attracted prospectors to this area in 1905 (Tarr, 1909, p. 166-167).
