On the Alaska-Canada boundary, 9.5 mi N of Mount Cote, 7 mi. N of Stikine River, Coast Range.

History

Named in 1924 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for Albert Gallatin, statesman, diplomat, public financier, ethnologist, and one the U.S. Commissioners who negotiated the treaty of Ghent.
