Description
Cottonwood Island is located in Stikine River, 5 mi. NNW of International Boundary Monument 62 on Mount Cote, Coast Mts. 2 miles long.
History
Named "Cottonwood Islands" in 1887 by Lieutenant Commander C. M. Thomas, U.S. Navy (USN).
