Description

Cottonwood Islands is located at mouth of Stikine River, 10 mi. N of Wrangell, Coast Mts. 5 miles long.

History

These low wooded islands were named in 1887 by Lieutenant Commander C. M. Thomas, U.S. Navy (USN).
