Description

On the E side of Clarence Strait, SW of Lemesurier Point on Cleveland Peninsula, 58 km (36 mi) NW of Ketchikan.

History

Named for a hermit named Meyers who lived in a small shack along Back Chuck in the late 1800s. Published in 1917 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). See Salt Chuck village.
